Agreed. I heard the snippets and the beats were tough and flows sounded nice but couldn’t tell what the lyrics were. Guess we’ll see if that is true

Damn, I swear there was a whole load more people that didn’t like Drake in here haha.

I just think the guy is waaaaay overrated. Maybe I would have liked him more if he’d come out when I was younger. I dunno

I don't mind Drake when he's rapping (although do find him a bit overrated), it's his singing when he completely loses me.

 

Excited for new Cole.

I'm not huge on Drake, but I always find a handful of songs from each project he puts out that I enjoy. God's Plan is fine. I think Nice For What is great, but in my head I always associate that song with the music video, which is really great.

 

Looking at some responses on other sites for J Cole announcement and this gave me a good chuckle

Craig Jenkins, who I usually trust, had good things to say in his review. Tbh haven’t listened to any record since Born Sinner but I think he can be enjoyable

 

Jon Caramanica put it in his top 10 last year. I think it is his strongest album, maybe not the highest highs but definitely the strongest as a whole.
