Anyone listen to that new maxo kream album? Shit is phenomenal, the storytelling on it is top notch and the production is next level.

 

It's cool, he's great but I'm not as big a fan of the production as you are

 

It took a couple spins for me to start to dig it, it's not as immediate on a good bit of the tracks. Kinda reminds me of Rocky's first two projects style, so maybe that's why I dig it.

 

It's probably just me, I just want all Houston rappers to rap over the same beats that they rapped over in the 2000's lmao

 

I think I'll give it a listen to before work.

 

It's really good. Listening again right now. Saw someone say somewhere that is what Ferg should/could have been and I can't unhear that.

Have the last two Ferg records been that bad?

 

I think they’re fine with some great tracks, but I’m p sure the consensus is pretty negative.

Agreed. First time I gave the maxo a spin , I thought the same.

 

Still striving was pretty decent, east coast remix, mattress , nando's, plain Jane , nasty and trap and a dream were great.

 

Lol pretty understandable, probs in an attempt to stand out.

 

Album going to be good.

 

I'll listen to the Zaytoven one but 29+ others? I dunno....

 

Just the prospect of 30 mixtapes puts me off from picking up even one. It’s overwhelming. I’m pretty sure no one wants that much Waka

 

I wouldn’t even want my favorite artists to drop 30 tapes in a small time period

 

He said "remastered" tapes, so I could be wrong but that doesn't necessarily mean all new material

holy shiiii the new juicy j mixtape called SHUTDAFUKUP is so good. production is incredible.
