Lupe announced he's not releasing any new albums this year anymore. Not terribly surprised but still pretty disappointed. Last few songs were fire

 

yeah that's definitely a bummer

 

It's sample issues according to him, so not really his fault. Both albums are done

I've never heard of rapper having such a hard time simply releasing albums as he does

 

Juelz Santana, Jadakiss and Dre come to mind but Lupe seems to revel in it

No Mountains in Manhatten is so great. His flow/voice is really interesting.

 

I'm oversimplifying it but his rap style is very 90s yet also current. He's really good.

 

No Malice (formerly Malice of The Clipse) released a new album about two weeks ago, in case somebody here cares

 

I heard part of a new song, wasn't so promising.

 

Haven't heard any of it myself
