A$AP Mob announced a tour today. I've wanted to see Rocky forever but not quite sure this is my preferred way to see him for the first time. I'll probably end up going though, would be cool to see Ferg too and Twelvvy's album may end up being good

 

I saw A$AP Rocky's set at Coachella last year and thought it was absolutely horrid, and I like his albums for the most part

 

For those of you that like podcasts: there is a great documentary podcast about Chris Lighty called "Mogul: The Life And Death Of Chris Lighty". It started a few months ago as a Spotify exclusive but now it's also available via Apple's podcast app (and I assume others). It's very cool. You should know who Chris Lighty is, but if you don't, now's the time.

That tape has quickly become a go to, the lyrics really cut deep for me helping me put my goals into focus. It's funny because I feel so inspired and feel like I learn so much from someone who's younger than me.

 

Well said! He is very much beyond his years, and I'm super excited to see where he goes.

Also some of the woozy, segmented production choices remind me of something from a Doom project.

When I saw that he was releasing a song with Lil Yachty, this is honestly EXACTLY the type of song I expected.

Will give him credit for dropping reference to Silkk the Shocker though.

 

Man, that's embarrassing. DRAM also is no stranger to calling out artists who bite his work (he calls out Drake in "Misunderstood") so I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a response

 

I've never been huge on Macklmore, but at least on the first album I feel like he had a sound that was his own in a sense. Everything after the second album has kinda felt like he is flailing on what to do for another hit
