The Kendrick track is fucking hilarious bro lol I love comedy Kendrick that’s my favorite

 

As much as I love Story of Adidon and think it's an all-time diss track (maybe THE all-time honestly), I'm very annoyed with what it's done to the public perception of diss tracks. Everybody seems to be expecting every rap beef to turn into celebrity gossip with the songs having "information" that their opponent was trying to hide from the public but that is so rarely the case. Adidon was a special case, not the standard

That said, Euphoria is fucking insane and I've already listened to it five times today lmao. I've always wanted to hear how Kendrick would approach a straight up diss track and it's everything I could have ever imagined, he fucking went in for 6 minutes. So many amazing lines that people will quote in Drake conversations, and yeah the song is actually hilarious too

Pushups was honestly a really fucking good diss track too but Kendrick just proved why he actually deserves to be called the best rapper of this generation. This has just been really damn fun so far

 

YOD has been hinting at an album by him and 'lib for so long, I hope it's real.

 

Looks like Lupe Fiasco's new album is entitled "Samurai" and is out June 28th.

Yeah his last one wasn't great but I'm always in for something new from him

 

Oh fuck yeah. The last Lupe was good but not great, but that makes sense since he recorded it in just three days—and it was bound to be tough following up the best record of his career (Drogas Wave). He is absolutely one of the best rappers out right now in terms of sheer technical and lyrical talent. I have a good feeling about this next one.

I feel like there have been reconciliation tracks after beef is squashed, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head

 

Testuo and Youth holds up so well it’s given Lupe a pass for the rest of his life I’ll always check out his new stuff in case he hits gold again out of nowhere like he did on T&Y

F&L, T&Y and Drogas Wave are all insanely good

 

Wave is such an insane accomplishment and maybe one of the densest albums I've ever heard. It's so good but I'll likely never understand it all

 

yeah it's a lot of album but it has 5-6 of the best hip-hop songs of last decade on it. dude is a beast lyrically

 

I think I've said it on here before but I think Wave is the longest album where I would cut absolutely nothing from it. Just an amazing achievement of an album
