The new Logic album is excellent, maybe his best work. I don't care what people say, I think he's a really talented rapper and a great artist, he just had a slump in like 2017-2019 that really affected how people look at him, but for someone that has dropped as much music as he has, I think he has overwhelmingly more good projects than weak ones

Definitely recommend this new one if you like some of his past work, it almost feels like Under Pressure put through the Vinyl Days filter

 

Just looked at the feature list for that — Seth MacFarlane, Andy Hull, and Lucy Rose are not names I’d expect to find on a hip hop record lol

 

New album from the UK rapper. Features from MIKE, wiki, Pinty and Sideshow amongst others. Really good stuff if you dig the first two.

 

Agreed Logic had a (really, really bad) extended cold streak. Mixed in with the "I'm retired!" schtick, it was a while without decent Logic so it's understandable why so many people jumped ship.

I feel he turned it around the past two years however. Vinyl Days & College Park are enjoyable and he seems to be back on track. Plus that Wiz Khalifa tour last year was fun as hell.

 

I never could get into Logic even on songs people share with me telling me they’re his best. He really just fills his bars with fluff IMO and goes double-time and calls himself lyrical, which I’m not really buying at all. He definitely can rap fast though and can write a melody.

 

When it comes to Logic I’m mostly in it for the beats, he’s got some really cool sounding stuff and I usually really love his production. I weirdly like his voice a lot too, like I think he sounds really good rapping but I really just can’t with his lyrics a lot of the time

 

When I listen to him it's like, oh ok this is pretty cool, then immediately after I forget about it forever

 

This is where i'm at with him. Nothing about him makes him stand out and he's just a bit unremarkable.

 

I’ve never had any desire to listen to a Logic album tbh don’t think I’ll start now the guy just exudes corny energy

with new Yeat, Key Glock, and now Young Nudy all dropping this past week I’m the most excited I’ve been about new music in a minute

 

First time listening to Maxo (threw on LIL BIG MAN before the new one), he's got a good voice and flow. Like a midpoint between Earl and Vince. Good stuff.

 

Seeing you generally post in different threads I follow and also seeing you like Yeat brings me joy

 

I always see you bring up Yeat in here and it makes me happy every time. @angrycandy i think initially put me on from posting about him in here. Unsure if they still fw him but if so I think it’s pretty much just us three lmao. Dude is on a crazy run right now. Reminds me a lot of Thug’s come up.
