it's been so good.

ten years ago (fuck i'm old) i saw them touring on this album and it's one of my favorite shows ever. played all but one off 59 sound, all of senor and the queen, and almost all of sink or swim.

Damn that would've been awesome. I never was as big of a Fallon/TGA fan as it seems most are, but some of their high points in songwriting are tremendous.

I’m going to make an active point to go swimming a lot this summer bc it makes me so happy and also it’s good exercise and remedy for the heat but mostly it just makes me happy
I wish I had friends to invite over and play pool games and eat food and drink and smoke and swim with

 

I want to buy beer but it doesn't quite for in the budget. In the other hand it would carry over into next week so maybe that works out. On the other hand I have to leave the apartment

 

i admittedly fell off after the 59 sound, though i still liked all of the albums afterwards. but that three album/ep run is some very formative music for me.

i think it's become this gravelly. i haven't seen them live in a decade, though. but i'm enjoying it.

edit: he tapped out of the big note of wherefore art thou so maybe he's gravelly for good
