definitely bartender. the one at the bar I went to last night only charged me $16 for what was probably a $50+ tab so I was pretty happy.

 

Damn. I love getting in good with bartenders and getting a killer deal/free drinks

ya the guy was super chill. My friend and I had been chatting with him the whole night. Plus I think he liked my friend so that helped lol, she was being pretty flirty.

the guy i've been emailing is terrible at getting back to me but yeah I'm still aiming for it.

 

working at my school's writing center, helping people communicate their ideas more effectively and whatnot. it's like a step removed from tutoring

the girl i've been seeing is coming down next week so I'll be spending a lot of time with her and then I might head up to SJ with her for a couple weeks and just hang out, maybe take a daytrip to SF. probably be back in Temecula in August at which point I need to make sure I have solid school/work plan in place - long beach job would be sick cuz I have some ppl I could move in with plus it's a great opportunity for me to get my foot in the door.

Yeah I was pretty much born and talented people were just entering my life throughout time, it's crazy

I often wonder if it's coincidence or fate or just that certain qualities bring people with other qualities into your life

 

maybe a bit of both. I do think we gravitate towards certain kinds of people for sure though - I feel like there are a lot of similar characteristics between creative types across the board as well. I've definitely always made friends with more right brain type people.

 

Oh shit me too. I also feel this way about corduroy and cotton balls

Yeah it's really interesting to think about because evidence definitely makes it seem like the case, idk it's fascinating how it all ends up working out
