I was a month with a cast on my leg. WHOLE MONTH! in fact, she was lying all the time and moving a little. fortunately, I didn't gain a pound, but my body quality got worse (usually I have a lot of muscles). Now I am returning to sports and decided to go to the gym in the morning before work. therefore, the training is maximal "killer" and short 35-45 minutes. go out there without having breakfast, so I drink pre-workout (glutathione) to have more strength for training

Oh SHIT I just learned that the Tonal gym is NOT something that gets installed “in” your walls just gets a mounting bracket attached to two studs and then the contraption itself hangs on the bracket. Still don’t feel like that would be safe / I would have the worst luck, but now I’m really tempted to get it. I’ve wanted to get more into lifting weights but don’t want a gym membership just for that and I don’t know how anything works at a gym / don’t want actual weights in my apartment so this would be a great solution, just not sure I want to spend 3-3.5K on the full set up and accessories. Hmm.

Looks awesome but you can also do a TON obviously with just a bench and some free weights for well under 1/3 of the price. Throw like a pull up bar and a roman chair or an ab wheel or somethin in there and you basically have everything you could need.

this is true lol I may go this route although I don’t have tons of space. Every once and awhile I think of upgrading to a two bedroom apartment and having one room be solely a workout room but the idea of packing up all my shit and moving it only a few hundred feet in the same building bothers me greatly lol (that and my patio right now gets great afternoon sun and I wouldn’t want to give that up if I had to be on the other side of the building - first world problems I know)

No idea why, but I can’t stand these :crylaugh: they’re just…awkward to me for some reason. My friend used them all the time though with no problems and they’re definitely cost effective.

The design of those can be awkward for some exercises, but for basic stuff they work well.

I can't wait to have the space and money for my own garage gym set up. It would be so nice to be able to just walk outside to work out. It would also be great to be able to hog the squat rack the whole time without feeling guilty or pissing people off.

I couldn't sleep so I went to the gym at 5:30 for kickboxing and smh I'm dead. I used to do it a few years ago pretty regularly but I could barely keep up and had to do mods with the elderly ppl

Does anyone here use a health/fitness tracking device? I have a fitbit And I get annoyed that half the exercises on the fitbit itself aren't ones I'd ever do and the ones I often do aren't on there. Like I wish I could swap out swim or interval for aerobic or elliptical. I don't find that the automatic detection always detects the right amount of time so I prefer starting the exercise on my actual Fitbit

Is an apple watch still worth it if I have an Android? I like the fitness options I see but then wouldn't have the bonus of the apple integration stuff

I could be 100% wrong on this, but I think you need an iPhone to pair with the apple watch. Like, it all syncs together.

You could always get something like the Samsung active 2. Has similar features to an Apple Watch

I am just not a runner. For a while I was training for a 5k and I maxed out there. I just don't have the endurance. Idk how people do it! I'll hear people say they've run for miles and miles and I can't fathom this. I can jog for about 2-3 minutes straight before I'm tapped out and it took me months to even get there. So much respect for runners.

I can get into running for about a total of a month a year and a 5k is definitely my max tolerance lol

Running is the only thing I really truly love as far as exercises go. I definitely understand though why people dislike it or outright hate it and I get why people look at me like a lunatic when they learn I run in general let alone long distances lol
