The overall length of the track is different as well. 5:35 vs 6:05.

Edit: It almost sounds like mine is slower than the original which would explain the differing lengths.

 

It's just slower, yeah. Sounds wild though haha

 

When It Hates You first leaked, there was a version that had all of the songs slowed down. Could that be the one you have?

 

That could certainly be it. Was the playback speed the only difference though? There seem to be some different stress points in the vocals for it to just be that. I was going to listen to a couple more tracks and compare.

Few is such a good album to crack open a cold one with

 

I recently showed The Garden to some people and it went over very well, so good

 

Beaufort is still my favorite from Few. It’s so damn groovy.

 

Beaufort, Alley Cat, Garden, and Vampyre are the best imo

 

I Am Hollywood is the only song I know from this band, but I'm gonna listen to more of their stuff tonight since I'm likely gonna see them with Gwar tomorrow.

 

It Hates You is the best.

 

Are they likely to play stuff from this album? I tried looking for setlists, but there's not much out there for their recent shows.

 

There's a pretty good bet your gonna hear Everyone I Know Has Fangs and Mean Shadows off of that album. Also Attack of the Dungeon Witch and Widow of Magnolia from Suck Out the Poison. Those all seem to be staples of the live set.

 

They'll also definitely play sand, and the only Heavy Fruit song will be Be Easy, which is an absolute monster jam

 

I wish they hadn't dropped so many of their Heavy Fruit songs, but I talked to Adam when I saw them earlier this year and he said they're not as fun to play live as the other songs. No Visitors makes for such a great opener to the set though!

 

Heavy Fruit is amazing, but the only songs I would really want to hear live are Be Easy and This Will Never Work, and maybe No Visitors. It's more of a record-album than a live one, I feel

 

Yeah it's definitely more of a moody, headphones-on album. Few is much more of a live record.

 

I must've heard more of I Am Hollywood than I realized, bc I immediately recognized The Seduction and was glad to "rediscover it"

Also, listened to some other tracks. Sand was dope, Widow Of Magnolia was cool. I liked China White III, No Visitors and Fangs quite a bit too. Excited to see them tonight.
