It's weird indeed. It reminds me of the rollout for Miley Cyrus and Hayley Kiyoko's newest releases, even though the former was then botched... I guess it's becoming more common?

 

Although the two singles she's released in the last couple of weeks are also confirmed as being on the actual album that's out in May... they're both on that EP due out on Friday as well, maybe we get some additional songs with it? IDK???

 

Videos are getting pulled quick, that's the only one I could find while we're waiting for the full thing

 

I assume they're packaging the singles into the EP to increase Spotify / Apple Music streams. Idk why they would do it otherwise

 

Yeah some artists package singles into an EP on Spotify but never as overtly as this which makes me think we're getting more music in there on Thursday.

 

Yeah I think the album is simply being released in a few parts, not uncommon and certainly not "botched" or "messy"

 

It's certainly helping with the wait until May for the full thing, that's for damn sure.

Oh sure, not referring to Hayley when I said "botched" though, but Miley who was supposed to get her second and third EPs out not so long after the first one... but plans must have changed.
