I really want this on vinyl. I am pretty convinced I like this more than Petals now. Which I wasn’t expecting, but I reach for it quite often.

 

Same. Waiting impatiently at this point. In my case, FLOWERS ended up being exactly the type of music I’ve fallen in love with over the past few months.

But on first listen I just didn’t get it, felt the songs sounded too similar (I was wrong), and thought Petals was somehow both more ambitious and accessible (I now realize that doesn’t necessarily mean better).

 

Yes, this is definitely my favourite but I love both and I’m pleased she’s been able to release both of these albums in the space of the year. Very thankful!
