hi thread. how is everyone

 

honestly Lost is one of my favorite ALL TIME shows but i've tried to re-watch it at least 5-6 times and I never get past like early to mid S3 - it just requires so much attention and there are a LOT of meh episodes in that middle span. I might just go back and rewatch the last season. Season 1 is always a damn treat to re-watch though.

 

there's only ever been like 5 good shows max

 

I get intimidated by how many new shows there are to watch and catch up on and I'm just like "how about instead of overwhelming myself I watch Party Down again" (which is what I'm currently doing)

Wouldn’t surprise me at all. I just think it’s so gross that it’s 2019 and DVD has become the default release format again because companies are cheap and don’t care about quality because they think the fans who want to own a series are too niche for it to have any backlash.

 

I've never seen Lost and you can't convince me it's worth watching in 2019

how many good shows are there now? I know we're in the golden age of television and all but I can't find all that much that interests me outside of a few HBO shows and one or two Netflix ones

i feel like sitcoms dont count because theyre so easy to throw on in the background and you can crush 5-6 episodes in an evening without really paying too much attention, but the only shows i've ever felt the desire to return to are The Sopranos, Mad Men, & Lost. Just recently did I rewatch Breaking Bad but its only bc my wife had never seen it and I figured Id go along for the ride. I don't think I'll honestly ever re-watch Game of Thrones.

 

That doesn't seem like a Travis show haha
