I will always advocate for buying the shows and movies that really matter for exactly this reason. It’s absolutely infuriating that tons of content isn’t coming out on blu ray at all, or years later if it does.

the only tv series I own on Blu-ray are Lost and The Leftovers.

ive never rewatched Lost lol but I’ve watched The Leftovers like 6 times

 

I used to buy box sets of shows all the time but I own so much crap I felt like it was wasteful at some point, was glad to have streaming so I didn't have to do that anymore. Now it seems like we're going the opposite direction again which is kind of a bummer.
