Chris Stuckmann is dumb as shit but he’s probably one of the better “YouTube movie critics”. One thing that happened with him that was rly funny was when he tweeted out a draft script for Batman Vs Superman in which he actually wrote the line “tell that to Zodds snapped neck”, he basically wrote a cringe fanfic in which he self inserted as Batman lol. Naturally people ripped him up and he tried to do damage control by saying it was a joke and it only took him like 30 minutes to write and all that. It was nice seeing a critic get a reality check, criticism is great but I think him seeing how difficult it can be to write a decent script then get ripped to shreds about it was hopefully a lesson learned.

he’s better at reviewing than some of the other guys. Jeremy Jahns does a hundred edits in a 4 minute video and he also did blackface once which was wild. YourMovieSucks is funny and I generally like his vids but sometimes he comes off as overly pretentious especially for a guy who’s gone on record to say he doesn’t really respect any movies released before like 1971. RLMs vídeos about shlock and stuff are a blast but their actual reviews with Mike and Jay just come across as “CGI bad modern movies bad don’t make em like they used to”. They also have that bad habit of conflating “this is how I think this scene should have happened” and “this is a plot hole” which can be frustrating from a writing perspective since it’s generally unrealistic to account for every single possible thing.
