Yeah there is no way Green Day isn't the headliner.

I love Weezer but if these are stadium shows it will kinda bum me out. Stadium shows blow.

 

I’ve only seen Green Day in a hockey stadium and they sounded incredible.

 

You had the chance to use Bang Bang and you missed it.

 

If anyone thinks Fall Out Boy would headline over Green Day they’re bonkers.

Personally I think it’s bizarre that they’d play over Weezer but I do realize - mainstream wise - that FOB has been the bigger band the past 10-12 years but legacy wise - and more relevant to the GD fan base - Weezer deserves direct support imo.

 

I love every part of Weezer opening for Fall Out Boy. I would feel vindicated on a level I can’t explain

 

Legacy does not matter when it comes to booking stadium shows. You decide the bill based on who sells more tickets. It's not gonna matter anyways, guarantee you that Fall Out Boy and Weezer will have the exact same amount of time to play anyways.

 

Yup- especially since River’s so often comes across as pretentious to me in the way he turns in garbage pop songs and acts like they should be big hits. I am just mouthing off, by the way. I don’t have proof, really. It’s just my perception. I am sour that after the White Album being great that Rivers and Co fast tracked PD and made it feel like White Album b sides.


I do like the new single- but even the worst FOB songs from the past few cycles feel more baked than a lot of Weezer’s material.

Really gotta hear this new GD song. Always will be one of my favorite bands and I feel like they really stepped up on RevRad.

 

Listened to Revolution Radio during my run today. Still holds up and Im still not all about the production.

I also really hope there’s no mention of a “revolution” on this next album lol.

They're all three playing tomorrow night, people have seen crews loading in stuff from all three bands

 

are you fucking serious, that is unbelievable. Literally 20 min from my office, and I know there is zero chance I get a ticket, fuck

 

apparently there is a sign that says "no lining up before 10am" which means there will be a line at 10am and impossible to get tix

 

Looks like some leaked dates in the US NEXT August, Paris in July I think. AKA this is a huge world tour and US is getting the tail end of it. Also looks to be sponsored by Harley Davidson haha

This is a fucking killer rollout for all three of them

I wonder if we get all three albums by the end of 2019? They have some time if the tour isn't even until next summer

God I hope that’s just a placeholder cover. The supposed leaked cover looked so good.

 

All three records will definitely be out before the tour but I doubt any of them release before 2020. Could see them doing like one album per month in the lead up to the tour (Weezer in February, FOB in March, Green Day in April, tour starts in May).
