Well there isn't one bad track on here!!! I fucking love this album haha (big shock)

 

Man. It feels good to be excited about a Green Day album. They were so formative for me, but I've been checked out for well over a decade. Been listening to their old albums a ton since this was announced and am kind of falling back in love with that stuff.

Great time to be a (born again) Green Day fan!

 

"Coma City" is pretty bad. Haha. But with 15 tracks, and most of them kicking ass this time, it’s less noticeable.

Now that it's leaked, other thoughts.

I think this is way closer in quality to RevRad, an album I actually really like, than people wanna admit, but right above it. It reminds me a lot of what they did there, a collection of just really good Green Day songs. This has way higher highs, but still flows a little weird in places, and has some filler.

 

My boss walked in as I was setting up a server to download the new Green Day record on my iPhone so I had to stop. I will tell you what I think of Coma when I am able to resume setting up a server.

 

That sounds good to me. I’ll be diving in shortly for my first listen.

 

If anyone wants the drip drip, lemme know. Sounds like a bad hip hop lyric. That being said, I did preorder it, I just couldn't wait since it's my favorite band

Goodnight Adeline sounds like a progression from Warning, what a song

 

I’m sure it’s great. It’s just one of those shows I missed and feel like there’s too much to ever go back and watch. Which is silly as I rewatch things all the time and could easily use that time to watch it. But, that’s what I do haha

 

I get that. LOTS of shows that I could watch and catch up on but there's so much of it that I just don't feel like attempting.

 

Suzie Chapstick is my favorite.
