All the aforementioned bands have very good records to their name.

I saw a Goo Goo Dolls show here 3 years ago (free tickets through my brother’s work), and they sold out a 16k cap venue.

Saw blink after California came out at the same venue and it was also sold out, or very close to it.

All Time Low is better than all of them.

  3. Honestly I'll take prime Goo Goo Dolls over any of the other previously mentioned bands but Warning is the best album made by any of them

It's always funny to me when people need to make blink and green day a rivalry or something (especially when blink wasn't mentioned once and it's brought up to distract from criticizing current Green Day lol)

I'm blink biased but even I'd say old Green Day is the peak of either band's material. And obv Green Day is better live. It's just Billie Joe has written too much great stuff to just be content with what he's done lately, just because he's old lol

Outside of American Idiot; Wake Up Sunshine, LYR, and Future Hearts are all better than any release from Blink or Green Day in the past 20 years.

  10. Oh you were serious. Carry on. I like maybe 5 ATL songs and I like 5 blink AND green day albums. So I’ll just agree to disagree? Haha

  14. I think if I was a little younger I would have been into ATL more, but I’m 173 years old so I only like bands where the members are pushing 50 hahaha

their early stuff is harder for me to listen to now, but I still do love it because it’s music I grew up with. But from Future Hearts on, they have been like Jimmy Eat World level good to me. I understand, though! Still love GD. Can’t listen to any of the recent Blink stuff.

  16. I actually liked Nine a lot. But I really never go back to Neighborhoods and California/Deluxe.

I only listen to Dookie to American Idiot Green Day but I really like FOAM.

    Pretty similar patterns actually!

I love Wake Up Sunshine, definitely my favorite ATL album and probably like more than anything Green Day or blink put out since 2005 as a whole album wise. But I just can’t rank any of the other ATL albums you listed over Untitled or even TOYPAJ.

A lot of Untitled hasn't aged super well with me. I think Alkaline Trio did a better job of that sound. Don't get me wrong, though, I do love Blink!

I get it. While I think it’s their best album music wise it’s not my favorite blink album.

ATL is cool and all, but Wake Up is their only album that even deserves to be in conversations with GD or Blink's discographies

I listened to WUS and didn’t save a single song from it so I must have not liked it much. I only listened to it that one time though, and haven’t felt the desire to go back to it.

meanwhile, I’ve listened to FOAM like 15 times and saved over half the songs haha

If I'm doing a top five albums out of Blink, Green Day and ATL, three of them would be Blink (EOTS, TOYPAJ, Untitled) and two of them Green Day (American Idiot and Dookie). All Time Low are great and consistently churn out excellent singles and consistently good albums, but their best two records are a rung below Green Day and Blink's best.

If I did that same thing AT LEAST four out of five would be Green Day personally.

Same - I’d probably go with Dookie, Insomniac, Warning, and American Idiot (and Blink Untitled)
