I feel like everyone loves Green Day from like 6th to 9th grade when developing musical taste then once the musical taste is developed fans either love em or hate em

 

Probably the first thing I disagree with blender man on.

 

Green Day is still a better band than Blink and always was

 

literally the lowest of bars

 

Nine is miles ahead of FOAM

 

They’re both bad

 

For me there's no comparison, FOAM is much better and I don't even really dislike NINE necessarily.

 

One band nobody remembered existed until this post, the other could still sell out a stadium tour tomorrow.

Other than that though, great post.

The Goo Goo Dolls are still remembered and quite popular though lol

Quite popular is a stretch. I worked one of their shows maybe 5 years ago at a 16,000 cap venue. They sold 1200 tickets.

blink has written more songs i personally like than green day and goo goo dolls
and i'd say nine is slightly better than foam but i really like both of them

 

Green Day is not that good live, the "hey-oh" every 2 minutes ruins it, and Billie Joe Armstrong sings like he's running out of breath.

 

New song isn't half bad, better than probably anything off FOAM

 

Green Day is phenomenal live, even with the overuse of Hey ho's.

 

More Hey-oh's, please and thank you.

 

For a 2 hour 30 min set every night, i’d expect some hey ohs

 

i've only seen them once (on the pop disaster tour) and i remember being blown away. and during blink's set after them, i was bored to death. badoom ching.

 

goo goo dolls is better than blink and green day both and it isn't close. dookie and AI are better than dizzy up the girl though

 

Goo Goo Dolls have the silliest band name out of the three, and all three names are quite silly, so that's impressive.

 

All three bands have classic early-to-mid career albums but haven't been the same since the early 2000s.
