Right, but do I get my own refund automatically? That’s what happens when a show is fully canceled, but since the show is still happening that complicates things.

Yeah, I kinda figured that was the case. It's entirely possible for them to be wrong and telling the truth based on what they know at the same time. Haha.

But I hope that's true! Ultimately, I can see that making a world of difference as far as refunds go. An announcement of "FOB is cancelling; refunds are here" looks very different than "FOB is cancelling. But the good news is that both Green Day and Weezer will be playing extended sets to cover the time; refunds are here."

I'm sure the lines are going nuts...

I'm not even sure how a partial refund would work. If they were going to do that, I think they would have to just automatically kick the money back to everyone.

Because inarguably, unless Green Day and Weezer do extended sets, everybody is getting "less show." Partials would put you in a weird space where it's basically "If you have the time to write an e-mail or sit on the phone for 1+ hour to request a refund, you can get it."

At this point, even though I'm offered a refund, I'm still gonna go tonight. Maybe the pit will be even smaller and my first time seeing Weezer will be even closer than I anticipated. And I'll get to catch The Interrupters now

Partial refund should definitely be offered. One of the headliners isn’t performing.

the refund goes to the original source of payment …sooo if they ask for a refund everything is in your hands from there

My hope is some extended sets from Weezer and/or Green Day though the updated set times do not suggest either

I agree, it should probably be a one swoop refund to all primary purchases, but I also understand the hesitancy, because then people who bought on the secondary market will complain, and the marketplace (SH, Vivid, etc.) would have to eat the cost. They won’t go after the seller for say, their theoretical 25% refund. It’s hard, but again, they definitely should’ve had this figured out well ahead of time.

Interrupters played a longer set tonight for whatever that’s worth.

Just got an e-mail from Fenway. No mention of extended set times and it looks like its the same start time tomorrow. Pretty much the same e-mail as CitiField.

Hoping for more updates when we start figuring out set times for tomorrow.

TBH, I don't care about the secondary market. Sucks for fan-to-fan resellers, but that's a risk you take. There's no simple solution for something like this... Which is probably exactly why they don't offer partial refunds for shit like this.

    Well, that's something!

Ahhh I don’t think anyone understands what I’m asking lol

I would bank on needing to request your own refund. I don’t think TM will do it automatically.

It’s kind of murky, though, because of the limited time frame. You don’t want your buyer to request a refund only to learn you missed the deadline to request yours.

    Sending my love

From Twitter it looks like both The Interrupters and Weezer did separate covers of Sugar tonight

Thank you, this is what I was referring to lol. I am going to have to bank on TM giving me a refund since there seems to be no way for me to know if my buyers requested a refund at this point.

(And because I don’t want people on this thread to think I’m a scummy scalper - I sold these for a loss because I couldn’t go anymore!)

This reminds me when Blink cancelled their apperance at Riot Fest 2018 and both Weezer and Young The Giant covered All The Small Things.

Just FYI since it came up earlier — Green Day still brought up a fan for ‘Knowledge’ last night. Really funny to see how petrified Billie Joe is whenever the kid gets too close haha

Show last night was fun, but I still feel pretty ripped off that I paid $120 for nosebleed seats and one of the headliners didnt show up. But it was nice that it ended at 10:30.

Weezer's set was great but the energy in my section of the crowd sucked for them.
