Will the credit card thing really help stop scalpers? Or just make it so less people will actually get in because scalpers will try to sell anyways?

 

I don't think these tickets will be transferable at all.

Not sure about the others, but tickets for Starland are $65, and with the fees probably a lot more. I think this is about the same price as when blink-182 went there back in 2013.

 

Chicago is $50 before fees.

 

DC is $65 + fees

 

FYI for Webster Hall, went to Ticketweb's site and you have to register to even be invited to buy tickets

 

Looks like $60 before fees for Detroit

 

When they were inducted into the Hall of Fame, they played Cleveland House of Blues (1,200) capacity and it sold out in seconds. Sucks I missed out because they played like a 35-song set.

 

Boston HOB.... nice - won't be able to go though.

 

Dang, those are some pricey tickets (understandably so). Just realizing I will be in LA the week of October 17th for a week for work and that LA date just so happens to be 10/17.

I'm debating doing this, too. I think I will regret it if I miss this tour.

 

$60 is nowhere near pricey for this band in clubs. They could easily charge $150/ticket (which is actually what they should do to avoid scalping clusterfucks) but chose not to.

 

I feel better about that price for Green Day in a small club tour because I know they always play long shows and varied sets. Not every band puts on shows like they do, and I feel like a lot would charge a higher price for a "small club" show just for the sake of seeing them in a smaller setting, but not necessarily do anything special. I know these shows will be special.

 

Everyone's beloved Blink 182 charged $80-100 and played the same set they had always done when they played the Music Hall of Williamsburg (550-capacity) a few years back.

 

I'll go all out for this one. I'll buy "Starparking" (Parking + Early Entry for everyone in your car for $20). This is my gf's favorite band and I couldn't do anything about their NYC show at Irving Plaza a few years back. Fuck, I might even propose at this haha

 

Will do everything possible to make it to Columbus

 

Yeah, I really don't want to miss this. Set list will be huge, and at such a small venue, $60 is worth it.

 

Yep. I saw that tour at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem and my ticket was roughly 90 dollars after charges. I think they were 75+ fees which was pretty nuts. Crazy and fun show, though. Four Year Strong opened. So did New Beat Fund, but I didn't really enjoy them. Half of their set was cover songs and they weren't very good.

 

I love that they're doing this, but it might actually be the reason I can't go. I may have to be out of town for work the day of the show, and probably won't find out either way until after tickets go on sale. Knowing that I can't get em just in case and then at least give them to a friend or something if I can't make it is a drag. Ah well, fuck scalpers.

Yeah the $50-$70 range isn't bad at all considering lesser bands charge much more and play the standard 75-90 minute greatest hits set. Green Day shows routinely get into Springsteen territory with how long they'll go and you never know what to expect from their setlist. Absolutely worth the money.

 

For what it's worth, I don't think any set they do could top what I saw in 2012. Billie Joe was definitely at the tail end of his alcohol/cocaine binge so he was dancing on the edge of control all night but still fun to see:
