Don't mean to do this so quickly but...what's everyones favorite song from the album after their first full listen?

Just finished, glad I didn't listen to the singles too much cause all three still hit me like a ton of bricks. I think Bloom might be my favorite on this, but I really loved Dark Green Water, Treat Jar, and Human Condition on my first listen (outside the other two singles), with everything else still being Very Good. Can't wait to get home and put on my good headphones, I'm going to absolutely DROWN in this.

  18. Well this is just really fucking good. The mix and master are so clear, even on a bandcamp stream!!

    beautiful and chequered, the end

I find it amazing that for an album that’s such a massive "step up" for the band, they end it with a track barely reworked from an EP 4 years ago. Like.... their song writing and musicianship has always been this amazing, we're just catching up now

Can someone tell me what other song(s) Dark Green Water sounds like?

I said earlier in the thread their songs sound strangely familiar and this song is giving me deja vu off the rip. The slightly dissonant chord in the intro and the melody of how she sings "water" are driving me nuts. It's like every band I like all at the same time. It's so weird haha.

so TIL one of the guitarist in this band used to play in I Kill Giants, no wonder this rips

    Yeah, the opener goes hard.

Holy canola, this is very good.

Highlights for me are "Ending", Human Condition, Mono No Aware, English Garden, Digger, Dark Green Water .
