could you see a difference between:

(not real examples):

"i hate you bitch" and a bunch of bad typical pop punk lyrics surrounding this line

"whats up bitch" and a bunch of forward thinking conscious raps about social issues surrounding this line


think long and hard about why one of these songs lyrics would be praised and one would be criticized. think reallllly fucking hard. and then dont quote me because i dont give a fuck what you think

 

I appreciate your sentiments. Im letting it go because its clear my point isnt getting across accurately. In conclusion, I love GJ, I love Kendrick, sorry it got fucky in here. Im not trying to put down a black artist or turn this into a race thing, truly, that is not me at all.

OK, that's good. Its just not released physically in stores (in AUS) until the 15th, which indicates to me that it was a very rushed physical release. Anyway, will have it digitally tomorrow.

Sorry again for derailing this tread everyone. I deleted my posts because I can definitely see how they could me misinterpreted from what I was really trying to bring up. I definitely stepped over the line a bit and got carried away, and I apologize. Sorry specifically to @sophos34 as I could have handled my side better, and articulated better what I was trying to say before it got outta hand. If you dont accept that or if I have already been blocked, so be it.
