That's not even to mention that most of those things he cited have little to do with Gaetz's potential role as AG. Press freedom is one, but we know how Trump feels about that so I don't think Gaetz's position really matters.

I also don't think he has many firmly-held beliefs and most of what he's said was likely opportunistic and/or to somehow "own the libs" (we all know they don't want to free Snowden).

Why are you posting a Destiny 2 meme account in here. Worlds are not supposed to collide like this.

He tried to do a "look libertarians and progressives have common ground!" thing a few years ago and formed an alliance with Ro Khanna In congress where they worked on some bipartisan anti-war and drug policy stuff together. When Gaetz told Fox News that "me and Ro are actually buddies and hang out!" though Ro backed off and stopped working with him lmao.

I have no clue what my GPA was. Bad i think? I had to do after school classes to make up credits and still had to do an extra semester to make up classes I failed. I graduated in December before winter break lol

My class had an almost 50% drop out rate, and I know people who had to do a full super senior year then got expelled, so not entirely the worst in my class. Least I got my diploma the year I was supposed to.

I have no idea what my GPA was in high school, college, or law school. I literally laugh out loud when I see people list their GPA in their resume, especially when they're like 10+ years out of school and have plenty of professional experience.

It's kinda funny, I got hired to start after college before I was even sent my degree, and I've technically never proven to my job that I have a degree for 9 years now

You’re right imo. I don’t think Trump’s picks represent a unified theory of governance, like say W’s with the neocons in 2000 or Clinton’s Third Way in the 90s. I think these picks very much are just poking the eye of his enemies+loyalty tests for the Republicans in Congress. He is going to pursue vengeance against people he dislikes and do plenty of terrible things, but he isn’t approaching this from an ideological place. Not that that makes a huge difference in the end, I think it’s just going to result in a lot of chaos.

It's so wild how little spine these politicians have. I'm not surprised but man, am I learning that some of my friends and family have way too much faith in "checks and balances."

EDIT: It's really fucking disturbing to read that politicians think "Trump runs the show" when, quite literally, if all they did was stand up to him... He'd have reduced power.

I've lied to every job I've had in the last 17 years that I have a degree. Not my fault they don't check.

So, if Gaetz doesn't get voted in and he just quit his job. Does that mean he's suddenly not serving the government anymore? Is it that easy to get rid of him?

Years ago Jason mentioned that when applying for jobs, employers do not give a crap about your GPA if it's more than two years after you graduated, so no use to put it on a resume

Honestly, I don't see a problem with having a social media site that isn't focused on politics all the time. There are a ton of other places to see political news.

Banning accounts for mentioning Palestine is obviously bad though.
