as one of the posters in this thread who is most sympathetic, shall we say, to Ukraine's current position, I can admit that this looks absolutely terrible

I think it exemplifies the Biden administration's unique knack for alienating & pissing off literally everybody, with their insane combination of the positions they do choose to stake out and then their confounding lack of action the rest of the time

it makes me think of the alleged Obama quote "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up"
