I like video games, but the online video game community sounds like the absolute worst.

 

i was talking about it a little bit last night with jason re: internet communities in the 00s vs now but it is so fucking uniquely terrible right now it makes me want to rip my eyes out

 

Yeah I think it’s fine to post about him and point out why you shouldn’t listen to him. Otherwise people could come across clips of him “owning” conservatives or something and think he’s a good voice

Kinda funny is the only video game content I watch and Giant Bomb to a certain extent. KF is a bunch of lefties from SF.

 

ive been a big skill up fan for a few years now but the way he's gone about the dragon age situation has left a very, very bad taste in my mouth. its more than just his bad review (his review is very bad dont get me wrong) but his refusal to condemn the grifters using his review as proof the game is woke and bad and harassing people who do like it. if i were a content creator and my content was picked up by literal nazis and they thought i was one of them i would immediately condemn that shit with my whole chest, idk

It’s fine. Basically the same as it’s always been but with small improvements here and there. Same as always, they’re promising big shakeups with Frontiers and we’ll see how those actually pan out. What they need to focus on is getting new players to the game and reducing barriers of entry though
