it's cruel that we don't have universal mail ballot elections with pre-counting allowed so we can get this shit over with at 7pm on election day and we treat it like 4th of July where most everyone has it off and we have a big celebration/group disassociation with our friends and neighbors at night

I think it was right at 50% in 2020 as well.

Remember, 2020 was the biggest turnout we’ve seen in an election in like a century and it was still only like 66% of eligible voters or something like that haha

 

one of my staff went to go help their mom vote in person and got a video of two trumpers there arguing with the election supervisor about wearing their trump shirts in the polling location saying it was a freedom of speech issue and they were going to call the sheriff on them lol.

okay, driving home just now I drove by a few schools that were polling stations, and they had the people at the entrances holding big trump & Harris signs and stuff on opposite sides of the entrances - who drives all the way to vote in person and still is undecided and is like "oh hey, Doris that knows my aunt wants me to vote for _______" and makes up their mind that way...?

or is it just about feeling passionately about a candidate and wanting to ride that wave all the way in to shore?
