Fdr turned away refugees who died

 

I thought this was well documented that we turned away Jewish refugees from Europe who were later killed

 

There's a lot of academic research and debate on this topic i'm pretty sure. I think generally FDR was itching to get in and looking for an excuse to do so...I don't know if simply finding out about the concentration/extermination camps would have been enough to do it. I think there were already rumors/heresay/intel that pointed to something going on regarding Jews and such by 1941, but I haven't read deep into it to know who knew what and when and with what certainty and etc.
