Harris has very bad favorability ratings and has basically been a ghost as VP, I guess I can't imagine her being a worse option than Biden given the circumstances, but she just isn't popular. I don't know who else would be a viable option because obviously you want someone that is established and known in the party.

I think the general reaction to Biden stepping back would increase Kamala’s favorability alone
