There's no context where yelling "you fucking jew" as an insult is okay dude lol. Just like she shouldn't have been calling him a terrorist supporter!

And the point is the movement should expel and repel those types of people whenever possible. It doesn't have to vilify the movement at all if it's loudly drowned out and made known it's not welcome so those people stop showing up.

That being said, when I’m at a protest ’ve never seen any animosity against a Jew who didn’t start it first.

like the one Jewish woman who broke an Arab man’s sign equivocating Israel with Nazis, who was definitely trying to bait him into being arrested. The man then grabbed her by the wrist and demanded the cops arrest her and said they won’t because she’s Jewish. Or the time a Jewish man spat at protestors and they all chased after him. He had it coming.

 

So why share a post saying the pro Palestine movement is full of racists because of that one short clip? That was my question. I didn’t argue that what he said is ok, it’s not. Calling her a jew seem as bad as being called a terrorist and I don’t see you sharing tweets saying these Zionists are racist assholes or Israel supporters are racists and jerks

And it hasn't been just this one clip which has been a problem from public relations point of view. There's a lot of nazi shitheads and otherwise anti-Semitic people taking advantage of the protests to spew some ugly shit. It's okay to say that's not good.

 

For Palestinians in particular, I’m actually surprised at how directed their anger is at particular Zionists and Israel. It is precisely because they are not jewish that their land was stolen and they are continually oppressed. It is a credit to them that they have not let their suffering cause them to hate jewish people in general given that it is their non-jewishness that is the reason given for their suffering by their oppressors.

 

Yea it’s fine to say that’s not good and those people are also not part of the Palestinian rights movement. So to share something saying the movement is full of racists is misleading. That’s my point.
Again, a few clips don’t represent the vast majority of protestors. Many of the pro Palestine protests I’ve seen/been to have been led by Jewish people!

 

But if those people are showing up to the events and spewing their views like this, enough times that it keeps getting caught on tape or in pictures, they become part of the movement in the eyes of the peopel you're trying to convince whether you want them to or not. Don't want it start working against you if you're there trying to get a message out.
