When I watch “Heat,” I make sure to shake my head so everyone knows I do not approve of the main characters shooting at cops.

on 691 in CT this morning, a two lane highway, i was doing 80 in the right lane losing ground on the traffic in front of me and getting passed over and over and over on the left

 

Honestly don't know how people drive that fast. I feel uncomfortable when I get to 80. Couple times I realized I was going 90 here nad there I've been like "Holy shit" and immediately took my foot off the gas lol

 

Speed freaks deserve the chair

 

I remember averaging 85-90 several years ago on a road trip from MN to Jackson Hole and it still took us 16 hours to complete the journey. The US is huge

 

I will say on our road trip out west I was hitting 85-90 more regularly. Less people and straighter roads made me feel a bit more comfortable at that speed. But even then i was still a little ehhh maybe I should slow it down 5-10 lol

It's crazy how warm it is here right now. Yesterday was 65 in Portland. All this precipitation is normally snowpack for the ski resorts and it's just washing everything away.

 

I can't think of a time I have been alive where there is so many conflicts around the world either ongoing or brewing.

You got : Ukraine, Gaza, Syria, Yemen, Mali, Myanmar all still going on

Then you got: China/Taiwan, Venezuela/Guyana, Morocco/Algeria, Ethiopia/Eritrea, and a possible escalation of the Gaza War to include Hezbollah all heating up for 2024 or 2025.

Then you also have Republicans running for president saying they will do US intervention in Mexico if elected.
