I'm always so suspicious of people in the industry who think they are doing something important. People actively avoid what we do. I'm content to spend my days writing clever copy. Helping a smaller company get the word out about an actually great product feels good, but I also know that if someone magically deleted all 15 years of my work from the world, literally no one would notice or care. And I'm totally fine with that. I've been freelancing for 5 years now and starting to be like ... "Hmmm, is there any good can I do with my skills? Where can I go outside advertising?"

Late to the party here but I’m a bit of a pro when it comes to transplants especially at Mayo Clinic.

Organs go to the most likely to live. You can’t take your blood pressure medicine everyday? You won’t get an organ because you’re not compliant taking medications and that is a lifelong requirement for transplant. Need a liver but you can’t stop drinking? It’s going to the one dedicated to their sobriety.

Part of the requirement for receiving a transplant is being fully vaccinated and not just against Covid! I had to have an updated/completed Hep B series about 3 months before I received mine.
