you'd have a point if Dems currently in power had any interest in rolling stuff like this back

every progressive gain is temporary. every human right rescinded is just a return to normalcy

Is this not proof that both parties are not equally bad?

What can they do to roll it back?

yeah it’s not terrible it just feels very mediocre. And being out in the burbs it’s even worse in terms of service. In NY you can get out to my wife’s town pretty regularly from the city up until 2 AM, but for SEPTA to get there from here the last train is like 8 PM, so you can’t really plan a night out in the city from down here and count on public transit

child labor's back. I'd take the under on 2 day weekends being gone within a few decades, depending on how quickly America loses its footing internationally

like gig work is already the norm. tech chiefly exists in the US to create new systems that circumvent labor laws

this is exactly my point bro. this is is why they won't roll it back. because people have been brainwashed to run cover for them. because most people think the system we were born into was created by deities

yet whenever there's tiktoks to be banned, they Voltron regardless of "party."

if Biden wins without ever having made a serious attempt to codify federal abortion rights or pack SCOTUS, what are the odds that can gets kicked to the next election to get donations?

Aren't a lot of people already working 6-7 day weeks just to make ends meet?

probably depends on if they get enough dems in congress to actually get us a chance of getting something passed. right now, with the current makeup of the senate, I don't think there is anything else that can really be done

but beyond that, isn't the fact that these rolls backs are only happening in red states evidence that both parties aren't equally bad?

like sure we have one party dragging us backwards and one party going "nooo don't drag us backwards". when what we really need is a party to try dragging us forwards, but if the parties were equally bad, you'd also see laws like this coming out of blue states

Can’t wait to be in a labor camp this time next year, since that seems to be where we’re going according to the news.
