Being able to see the Northern Lights from my backporch while even being in the city was such awesome thing.

 

Too fucking cloudy here unfortunately. Sucks

 

Got a slight view here. Took some shitty pictures with my phone. Best I’ve ever seen inside of the city though

 

Had to use my phone to fully experience it but even through all the light pollution in the city I could make out the purple. Initially it looked like light clouds until my eyes adjusted.

 

I don't get it. Local meteorologist retweeted like 3 great pics from miles away from me, within my city, including like below with plenty of light pollution, I drove around for an hour saw nothing

 

this is hilarious considering all the hand wringing about the protestors not actually being informed on the issues. counter protestors clearly have their finger on the pulse though!

 

A lot of good northern lights photos (especially from places where it’s not common) rely on long exposures

 

It’s my dream to see the northern lights and that could have finally happened but it’s fucking cloudy here

 

Yep. This is the first time I can remember them actually being visible here and the clouds are blocking it. Bleh.

 

uhh what are these ''northern lights'' everyone keeps talking about? in Texas we have the Marfa lights but that's it

 

We just woke up the kids and drove to the lake.

You live in Middletown? I have to go there on occasion to do IT shit for one of our remote offices, lol. The last time I was there I drove over to Hartford to check out Little River Restoratives, which was cool.

 

Sure do. I mostly like it. Next time in town I'll buy you a drink or something if ya want although sounds like you'd know the better spots. I do not know or care about nice bars but I like a beer

 

Clear skies here and it just looked purple from my house but pictures people posted from the town I live in were really cool. What the hell

 

The one night we leave the middle of nowhere to stay the night in the city after hubbys gig. Missed it

We got a pretty good view of the lights last night. I live in a fairly remote area also near the water.
