I mean, I was shitposting earlier, but I think objective, unbiased war journalism is kind of a myth or an illusion

"unbiased" in this situation is almost always going to just mean biased in the way that you like

How would I check if Genocide Joe’s new student loan forgiveness plan affects me?

 

Believe you have to stand in front of a mirror and chant “Genocide Joe, Genocide Joe, please oh please, let my debt go” three times

 

Pretty much if you have a ton of interest and make under a certain amount or if you’ve been paying for like 20 years you get forgiveness (only on the interest for the former). So everyone else is sol, no more broad forgiveness being proposed. Just long time payers and means testing for interest

I think there’s a lot of questions around that “hardship” one

 

my student loans were all going to be completely forgiven, but then Joe Biden found out that I said he is running a fucking godawful campaign in a post on chorus.fm, and now he reneged on all of my loan forgiveness and jacked my interest rates up

 

I’m going to be paying mine for decades

 

Good thing we’re in an economic boom

 

I only have $1,300 left of my student loans and I didn’t graduate!

 

I just got my loan reconsolidated so I could qualify for the SAVE plan. Still waiting for that second part.

 

I have well over $100,000 and only made $47k in my Norway job last year….which is why I’m going to be looking for a new job soon. Also just applied for an IDR payment plan
