Trump’s 2017 tax bill increased it to $2000 with $1400 being refundable, then Biden did the ARP which bumped it up to $3000 or $3600 depending on your kids age and I think also made it fully refundable? But it was only temporary as it was seen as “stimulus”, and also to survive the rules of reconciliation bills in the senate

 

It was a long shot but I was hoping a covid lesson would be look how good the government can be at giving you money. And they can get so much more from the rich without putting a dent in their lifestyles and you can keep getting this!

Taiwan’s Apollo Gold says the pagers were made in Hungary.

The firm's founder Hsu Ching-Kuang said the devices were actually made under licence in Europe by a firm called BAC, using the Gold Apollo name.

In a statement given to Sky News in Taiwan, the company said: "Apollo Gold Corporation has established a long-term private label authorisation and regional agency cooperation with BAC. According to the agreement, we authorise BAC to use our brand trademark for production sales in specific regions, but the design and manufacturing of the products are entirely handled by BAC."

Apollo Gold said the European firm was based in Hungary's capital Budapest, but declined to give further details.
