why would you serve wine from anywhere other than France, Italy, or Napa valley

Source: worked at the largest winery in MO for 5 years, and good friend runs another small, well-celebrated winery in the region. So many good wineries overlooked within 15 miles of here (And not Hermann, which is overrated, IMHO). Almost makes living in the middle of nowhere worth it.

I didn't until I went to Rome. Wine was cheaper than water (which paying for water in the first place was mind-boggling). But the red wine with Margherita pizza? Game changer.

 

Literally insane that anyone could put any kind of spin on Trumps debate performance from last night. I know my mistake, but some friends posting on facebook with positive thoughts about Kamala, have had all kinds of deranged conservative lunatics coming in and trying to 'both sides are bad / liars' the debate, and justifying still voting for Trump.

In hindsight I do think it was a good enough performance from Kamala, and an unhinged enough performance from Trump to get some apathetic / moderate votes to make the smart choice.

While Kamala still dodged the tougher questions (Israel / Palestine, Climate Change / Fracking), I don't think it could have gone much better.

At this point, just do a debate on Fox News to shut Trump up about the bias. Even if the moderators went into 'pro-trump attack mode' she'd come out fine, and it would take more ammunition / arguments away from Trump about the media always being at fault for any criticism that he comes under.

my favorite thing about my new job is how many coworkers I have from all over the world, this young girl that’s a host at the restaurant asked me to guess where she’s from and I was completely wrong because she’s from eastern Russia and my mind did not go there when I asked if it was an Asian country and she said yes. Never met anybody from eastern Russia before. She’s super nice. Anyway like every other person I work with is from somewhere other than the U.S. it’s sick.
