I'm no expert in middle eastern affairs, but can someone who is pro-Hamas point me in the direction of a convincing argument that they're effectual and strategically sound champions of Palestinian rights and statehood?

Cause everything I've read basically makes them look like ineffectual fundamentalist morons who Israel allow to hold power because they make it easier to demonize Palestine.

yes/no. I’ve had to walk back that narrative myself as it kinda removes the agency away from Palestinians and their resistance. yes israel did want to play the more secular and religious Palestinian sides against one another. yeah funds do go into Gaza but so does money into the west bank and the PA. Just wanted to say that after having an experience at a bar in June where groups of 20something friends were using digital cameras and us mid-30s people were like "Wait is that a thing now?", I just confirmed with my AP Gov students that digital cameras are in fact back and are a thing again.
