It's going to be an old white guy for VP.

Kelly, Walz, Cooper could all be fine.

I'd prefer Whitmer, Shapiro, Mayor Pete, or BeShear

Sorry to jump in on a conversation but they all fucking suck on Israel. America is 100% directly responsible for genocide.

 

Walz was less than ideal at times with a divided state legislature but once we got the trifecta, he was great at signing the good shit

Wait do people think Vice President Mayor Pete is a thing that could happen right now in this scenario? Feels like liberal wishcasting to me. No chance.

Kamala will keep him in pocket but probably get a promotion to one of the marquee cabinet spots he can build a future presidential run on like Defence/State/UN Ambassador for being a good boy.

 

Never going to happen. I like him a lot, don't get me wrong, but I do think he reads on television a little bit too 'I'm smarter than you' for the average voter. Which he is, to be sure, but I just don't see that playing too well.

 

I didn't realize Shapiro was pro-Israel. I really hope she doesn't pick him and goes w/Kelly or Walz instead

I see Mayor Pete's career going a lot like HW Bush's. Loyal decades long servant to the hegemony, filling numerous different roles in the bureaucracy, until eventually you gradually work your way to legit presidential candidate status when you're like 60.

GHWB was like: Fighter Pilot, to "international businessman", to Congressman, to Ambassador to the UN, to Chairman of the RNC, to de-facto Ambassador to China, to Director of the CIA, to Vice President, to President. Petey is currently on like step 3 or 4 of the imperial ladder. Still has a ways go.
