Well duh but it has been like 48 hours since Biden dropped out. That’ll have to come in the next 3 months to keep momentum.

Ultimately we’re all going to hate her lack of student loan plan and Palestine. She isn’t going to deliver anything anyone wants, but it’s her simply just not being Biden is what gives the hope.

And if Gen Z can be targeted on Tik tok with her as a dumb meme but it gets them to care 5% more than they would with Biden … cool

 

There is an X-Men character called Forget-Me-Not who has the mutant ability to be forgotten by everyone once out of their field of vision. We find out he's actually been there the whole time in all the major events but no one knows because they forget him due to his power. It's terrifying.

Anyway, this reminded me of that.

 

It's absolutely disgusting and cruel that this is the way politicians choose to debate. Like, attacking beliefs is one thing, but to seriously and venomously go after someone just for not having kids, especially in this ugly fashion, makes me totally certain we need to start redacting people.

imo the energy of the black lives/anti-cop movement that began with ferguson and peaked in 2020 has been exhausted, co-opted, subverted, and destroyed in a successful counter insurgency campaign by the state. obviously there are still orgs working around cop city and such, but the ability to moblize the masses has successfully been quelled.
