I get to present on “natural medicine” legalization in Colorado in a few months. My council is going to flip when they find out that the constitutional amendment had language that expressly prohibits municipalities from banning it in their boundaries like they can with marijuana lol.

 

What’s their reasoning for why it’s different from weed?

 

Whose reasoning? The petitioners learned from marijuana legalization where cities could opt out of it and prohibit any stores, cultivations, or infused products manufacturing from being within their city if they want. They put language in the constitutional amendment to state cities can only regular the time, place, and manner but not prohibit it.

my city council is split on marijuana now, we have a moratorium in place because they think we have too many stores. They’re going to be mad they can’t do the same with mushrooms and DMT is my assumption.

 

Michigan crossed 815 dispensary licenses in MI this month lol it is insane.

 

Jesus. We have just over 1100 med and rec stores and we’ve had it for around a decade now. I think our market is saturated and we’re seeing a slow but steady trend of licenses surrendered or let expire.

 

This is such a smart move there’s no way the Dems will do it.

The cutoff is really Beau's death. You can see it really changed him by 2016 and he was real slowed down by 2020. Now age+stress of the job+multiple covid bouts and he's just not physically able to do it anymore.

Looking at polls from FL and a little shocked Trump isn't doing as well here as I thought. The most recent major poll only has Trump up by +4, basically performing the same as he is in recent AZ and NV polls right now. Trump is actually polling better the last few weeks in GA than he is in FL right now.

Maybe the big influx of millennial transplants during Covid helped us a bit. Can only imagine those numbers will look better if Kamala gets in. Fuck I told myself I'd only vote Dem for POTUS if FL was realistically back in play to flip too . I didn't want that burden lol
