tbf I was on the “Florida really sucks” bandwagon even when they were voting for Obama. But it solidified it for me in 2018 when I went there for the first time since I was like 8 haha. The Everglades and surrounding wildlife preserves rule, the rest of the state was just not a great experience. Worst drivers in the country, unbearably humid, dingy, etc. St. Augustine was a neat little town though.

 

Colbert during the Colbert Report days is GOAT. Sometimes I forget how great he was. Before Spring Break I showed my AP gov class the series of segments he did when he started his SuperPAC since our next lesson gets into campaign finance/citizens United, and goddamn was it so good.

 

Some of these people have never made anyone laugh though

Every time I visit Delaware I'm reminded how mediocre it is. I don't want to make judgment off just a few visits but it really just screams boring vibes. Like it's fine, but it feels like there is nothing exciting to do there. But I'm sure David will have tons to say about how great it actually is

In no particular order the worst states I’ve been to are Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Kansas. Indiana wasn’t great either. Ohio is probably the least worst of that bunch but it’s close with Florida (for as bad as it is, Florida still has beaches which is a big plus for me haha)

Pre Late Show Colbert was so damn good. It sucks that he became just another boring talk show host. I feel like his talent is being wasted.
