Is Twitter acting weird for anyone else on desktop?

Almost everything but my main feed results in 'Something went wrong. Try Reloading' The trending section says that. If I search for anything, I get that. If I have a notification and I click notifications I get that too. Been like this for two days, cleared browser and everything and still happening.

Mobile works fine.

 

my tinfoil side says they wanted to do this all along, maybe even engineered it

but in actuality they probably just fucked up and are scrambling to pretend it's the citizenry's fault for having too many freedoms. it's a day ending in y in America

Yeah, and they're all in there secretly swapping BJ's with other closeted conservatives and claiming "no homo" right afterwards before they walk out. As a gay man from NC, some of the things I personally saw a decade ago regarding that kind of behavior was just baffling. Can't imagine how much more goes on nowadays with all the apps and such.

 

I watch a lot of videos on youtube of child predators getting exposed and the amount of "straight" white ultra conservative dads that get caught trying to meet 13 year old boys is astounding

They do have power to get her to resign. And should use that power because she isn't fit for office.

 

Every person I know in real life and/or interact with online wants McConell to drop dead and/or resign, it's just a fucking given. This argument they're throwing out there is just so fucking stupid.

 

Oh wow. I didn't know about those. Gross. On a slightly-related-but-equally-disturbing note, I've read stories online about younger gay adults (early 20's) who end up hooking up with married men at their house, then proceed to do the deed in their kid's room while calling them by their kid's names. A few of them even wanted to do it in their kid's sports clothing. Straight up disgusting pedo behavior right there. Like seriously, WTF?! People in the comments will ask if they tried telling their wives or anything, but it seems some of them either went along with it or didn't want to make drama and left it alone. That makes them complicit in my opinion. Either don't engage in that debauchery with someone who is potentially predatory around their own children, or at the very least figure out how to let their spouse know so the child isn't possibly victimized. There are some real sick monsters out there, and it's not the ones that are getting harassed through the media right now.

I feel the same way. I don’t have much hope left for society at all. It’s a vicious and terrifying cycle, and it just keeps going.

 

this shit really is the conservative version of libs calling everything "problematic" in the mid 2010s

the methods they use to distract and manipulate us are the exact same, just as long as no one ever ever thinks about class

 

I know it’s incredibly fucked up and disturbing, but I figured if the gays aren’t going to address it within our own community and stop fetishizing it, I’m going to start talking about it in other social avenues in hopes that it reaches the right ears. You won’t find anyone talking about it in person or not behind a screen name, so the anonymity of it all makes it harder to address.

my grandma who was born in 1930 does something very similar. everytime i visit before i leave she goes through her fridge and cupboards looking for shit to give me no matter how much i try to politely decline. i only try to decline somtimes because a lot of it shes had sitting in there for almost 10 years and is very expired lol

 

if your grandma isn’t always trying to give you food are they really your grandma
