Is the person saying that trying to suggest that is a reason not to do an investigation and possible impeachment...?

I know this is one specific issue here, but its a pretty stark example of what democrats are doing wrong. The other party led a decades-long successful campaign to wrestle the supreme court under their control because they know what they want to do is deeply unpopular with the American people and rightly saw that as a workaround, knowing full well that doing so is deeply undemocratic and utterly not giving a shit. Meanwhile the democrats are still hemming and hawing about doing what is right because it may undermine trust in an institution. Should anyone not in the fucking Federalist Society even have any trust in the Supreme Court right now anyway?

I think the time where we can just 'Vote Blue No Matter Who' our way out of this mess has long since passed.
