Seriously. Maybe the numbers are wrong but imagine just going all out deciding to defend massive pay gaps for people doing the same amount of work. Fans are silly

 

That's like saying all baseball players should get paid the same because they do the same work. It's a contract negotiation. If Ramsey is unhappy with making $630k at age 19 (plus gaining a massive amount of exposure which she can leverage into future high-paying roles), then she can fire her agent. Totally different situation than the typical gender pay gap.

 

That’s not some fan. That’s an actual writer. He wrote on early Flash stuff, Thor, and X-Men First Class. He is just explaining the reality of how it works behind the scenes for this stuff.

 

Yeah there’s a pay gap there because he’s already a massively successful actor and she’s just starting out as a lead.

The more fucked up thing will be 2 or 3 shows from now when she gets hired on as a well known lead and gets offered like 450K an episode instead of 600K. That’s where you’ll see gender pay gap

How so? Her agent agreed that figure, which is an absurd amount of money for a person to earn.

This is all hypothetical because I don't know what the real figure is, but I doubt she is unhappy with it, so why should anyone be acting like it's an issue? She's a young actor who has been handsomely paid and is riding a wave of success.

We can live with people earning that much, but don't make us feel sorry for them, or argue that they deserve more. That's just sad.
