Opiods plus covid plus an already somewhat unhealthy populous

 

The US would rather kill off its citizens than deal with an aging population, like Japan is seeing for example

Plus basic health care costing too much money for a lot of people. And yeah when you combine for profit healthcare with soda being cheaper than clean water here it shouldn’t be surprising.

 

I mean, he's right, just not in the way he thinks he is.

 

Colorado republican's have been having a meltdown this week because the dem supermajority in the house used a rule to limit debate to 1 hour. Thanks to the rule, they were able to stop the filibustering and pass two gun reform bills that expand red flag laws and allow gun manufacturers to be sued. There's another one likely on the way to raise the age to buy and possess a gun from 18 to 21 (personally, I wish they'd gone harder there and raised it to 25, but it's still good). This is the kind of stuff we need to do when we have a supermajority.

 

They apparently found maps and a bunch of other notes in the shooters car they drove to the school

 

I mean, that’s not a manifesto though necessarily. I’ll wait for more details.

Body cam footage is out there

 

They never release that footage from school shootings, I wonder why they’d do it now?(I know why)

They did it for the Uvalde shooting too. In this one you don't see any victims thankfully, just the cops charging in trying to find the shooter and then you do hear them/see them shoot them (blurred out, obviously)

 

Oh I don’t remember any body cam footage except school camera footage for uvalde. They were really quick on releasing the footage from yesterday though.
