I feel like at least some of the yearly increases are just us moving further away from when it launched and a bunch of Republicans who refused to get that socialist obamacare 10 years ago or whatever are now just using the marketplace like any other normie.

My first thought was "I have to write a check sometimes" but that makes me sound even older than my desk drawer full of Pilot G2s does.

 

how does one even go see a doctor? like for a physical exam or whatever. i haven't been to anything but an urgent care since high school

Do you have a CVS minute clinic near you? My gf needed one when she got hired for her current job and it wasn’t a hassle for her.

 

i've been to a kroger minute clinic when i had a sinus infection. is that the same as a real doctor?

If you're looking for a primary care, you really just gotta do some googling and call the practice to set up an appointment. Typically they'll want your medical records released from your previous doctor if possible. I actually went to urgent care for something unrelated, mentioned that I didn't currently have a primary care doctor, and they printed out a sheet for me of reputable places in the area that they recommend. You could try calling your local urgent care and see if they have anything like that

Oh and definitely log onto your insurance site and make sure they're in network for you

Pens are like umbrellas. Nobody ever buys them. They just kind of inherit them somehow.

 

the amount of times i've needed a pen at home and just didn't have one is just shocking.
