Didn’t Egypt literally warn Israel about the attack?

Were Native Americans who killed white American civilians on raids following their colonization/decimation “not human”?

I mean if you want to keep posting on the internet about this but gladly say shit like you don’t care about context and that certain people deserve violence then it’s gonna come off a type of way, but you do you

That will not happen because those other countries are depending on the US in various ways, whether it's military help or aid or etc, that they know would immediately go bye-bye if they attack Israel.

In a perfect world with a more just government, the US would also be exerting that pressure on Israel in exchange for a Palestinian state and equal treatment and trade between the two and etc etc. But for various reasons, the US does not do that.

There is a big difference between simply "killing" and what was done on Saturday

In a perfect world they would take Israel and place it somewhere far far away, let the Palestinians have their land among their other neighboring countries.

There is a reason why the US wouldn't want this to happen.

Well tbf the location makes sense since it is a holy land for the jews as well, so seems like a natural place to have a country for jewish peoples looking to leave places they no longer felt welcome in. But I just marvel at the absolute ignorance/idiocy of western leaders that thought they could just go and do that and displace all these people that already live there and not have any ability to see the problems it was going to create. Just one of the all time dumbest shits ever.

If they raped women next to their friend's dead bodies, killed their pets at point blank, paraded around with women's naked bodies, abducting children and elderly, mutilating corpses while celebrating it and making sure the whole world sees this then my answer would be "yes"

David how much money have US arms manufacturers made off of Israel? Between that and the colonial history of many of the countries involved in its founding, it feels like a feature not a bug to me lol

It's not only that. If Israel is eliminated then Palestine creates a huge area of Muslim countries that don't like the US and this is one of the main things they are trying to avoid by helping Israel. That's why they also say they are trying to keep the "balance" in the middle east.

At the end of they day no one really wants to help anyone, people just care about their own asses.

The company I work for sells equipment to the IDF and I'm sure that 99% of the people working there don't even know.

I think you're giving them too much credit....feels way more like arrogance to me, like they thought they could just say and do it because of who they were and that was that and everything would be fine.

Russia's settler colonialism differed from the others because it was internal to their own continent, but they still practiced it, and i would argue their expansion south and east was foundational to their existence. The Caucasus, Siberia, Central Asia, ect were all settled and colonized by Russia.

Go tell a Chechen that they are not a colonized people.

I would say there are a lot of parallels between how the United States conquered it's current landmass and how Russia conquered it's current landmass, and that the talk of Russia never (successfully) colonizing parts of Africa is just a convenient talking point and/or distraction right now.

I do not subscribe to the theory that something is only bad when the United States does it because we did / do it on a large scale, or because we were / are more successful at it.

yeah but the core of the Russian polity was founded via the Kiev-Rus a land not settler colonized, unlike say, the 13 american colonies or all of the land claimed by Israel and Russian eastward expansion while settling didn't really do the same systemic elimination as say, manifest destiny.

I will probably sound like an asshole but I don't think most Americans understand how good they have it. Sometimes I look here in this thread and I immediately think of the "first world problems" meme.

i used to wake up at 4 am every day to milk cows when I was 16 years old and I now I see 16 year old throwing a fit because someone unfollowed them on Instagram

Turning 40 in December. I moved to the USA 10 years ago with my wife from a very poor country that was also riddled with political issues and basically a war zone (not going to mention which country because I rather keep that private).

Even after 10 years I'm astonished at the American mentality sometimes, especially at the work places. many Americans just don't appreciate what they are handed and expect everything to come to them without them working for it.

Dude, a few months ago I took a trip to Colorado with my wife and some friends and I saw Amish people for the very first time in my life, it was so cool.
