Re: The weather talk the other day....our summer has been a pretty "normal" one here temperature wise by historical standards based only off my memory haha. Most days have been in the mid-high 80s, and only a couple of heat waves, one of which was pretty bad, BUT not as bad as ones we've had in the past. I think one day got to 97 and that was the highest we've seen all summer, whereas we've had heatwaves in the past, both when I was younger and in recent years, where heatwaves meant multiple days of 97-99 degrees, sometimes getting a day or two over 100.

Weather wise it has been a strange year. We had like a 4-6 week period in may/june without any rain, or close enough to none to not matter. But after that I'd say it has felt like we've had 1. more frequent pop up storms that have been more intense rain wise than in the past, and threatening violent weather more often than when I was younger.
