Get paxlovid if you can/if your doctor thinks it’s safe for you. Crushed my symptoms pretty much immediately. Most studies seem to say start it on day 3 of symptoms to reduce the risk of a rebound/still allow your body to create antibodies

 

My wife had COVID two weeks ago and was bed-ridden for five days. She went to doctor early in her sickness and they wouldn’t test her for anything, just told her it was a Sinus Infection (which is same thing that happened to her 2 years ago…so doctors are learning nothing).

my daughter (5) also tested positive but had zero symptoms.

I had slight congestion and a faulty sense of smell for a few days. Luckily, nothing too series.

My son (8) tested negative, but we think he may have had it first because the week prior to my wife getting sick he was complaining about headaches and had a slight fever.

I only had covid once during canadian thanksgiving last year. Tested positive in the morning, and the next morning when I woke up it felt like someone had beaten the shit out of me in my sleep. My entire body head to toe. Thankfully it only lasted for a little over 48 hours for me. Hope you feel better soon

This is how I feel as well, and it’s honestly taking a huge toll on me mentally. So many people at work have been coughing and just sounding less than well. I don’t want this thing, I don’t want to spread it to my partner; the thought scares the absolute shit out of me, but it is somehow beginning to feel less avoidable than ever.

Yeah I know some people that got covid here and they were just out maskless within a day or two. Sent their kid who tested positive to school after just a day when their fever went down. There doesn’t seem to be any real effort to stop it from spreading anymore. I think most employers took away covid time off policies so I’m not sure people could take measures to stop it from spreading if they wanted to. I think it’s going to be a rough fall/winter. Really need that updated booster
